Now there is a new way to explore SBS's six billion stories.
Introducing SBS TWO: more world film and drama, documentaries, international news and sport - including the Tour de France 2009 – every stage live. SBS TWO will also screen your favourite shows from SBS ONE at different times giving you even more choice.
SBS TWO is free and available to you from June 1, 2009, if you have a digital television or receiver or subscribe to a cable television service such as Foxtel or Austar.
By tuning in to SBS TWO, you should see a better, clearer picture, often in widescreen format.
Here's how you can get SBS TWO
- For free to air viewers: You'll need either a digital set top box or a television with an inbuilt digital decoder (also known as an integrated digital television). The digital set top box is a small box that receives the digital signal and transmits it either through the aerial socket or through the coloured A/V leads on an existing television. You can purchase one at your local consumer electronics retailers.
- Once you've connected your digital set top box, go to SBS TWO on Channel 32, If the digital set top box doesn't immediately recognise Channel 32, you may need to re-scan or re-tune it to pick up the new service.
- For subscription television viewers, SBS TWO is also available on Foxtel Digital, Austar Digital, Neighborhood Cable and TransACT.
If you have problems receiving SBS TWO, follow this link for help with transmission issues.
