You know how there’s that classic image of a cream pie getting flung into a comic’s face? Well yesterday whilst filming BOGAN PRIDE I had a meat pie covered in tomato sauce flung into my face.
So if you saw the clip from my last blog you’ll know that I was forced to go on a hunger strike... probably not the most mature thing to do but at least I didn’t shave my head and neglect my children.
Apparently last year in America a roller-coaster flew off its tracks and the people inside were all badly injured. Today filming I felt like an emotional roller-coaster... which did the same thing.
Well I’m past the half way mark now! We’ve just completed Week 3 of 5 weeks of filming for BOGAN PRIDE. Yay! A particularly hard week because apart from the hiccup at the school this week ended up being a 6 day shooting week.
Today was a day of comedy ‘on screen’ but mega drama ‘off screen.’ OMG! The whole production was almost shut down. Yep, BOGAN PRIDE was almost reduced to bogan nothing!
Alright, if I thought I was ‘bogan’ before I started filming BOGAN PRIDE, now I am ‘off the charts super mega bogan.’ Like if they had a slurpee which was ‘bogan flavoured’ – it’d be me ground up!
Okay so we’re into our second week of filming and my romance with Ryan (who plays the hunkiest guy in the show ‘Nick’) is really heating up. Every time I’m around him I sweat so much that I need a Shammy.
So we’re still in the first week of filming and so far everything has been really sweet. Well, sort of. One of our ‘extras’ had nits and now everyone’s heads are feeling really itchy.
