Beyond the Paywall - Paying for News
What does all this talk about 'Paywalls' and News Corporation blocking Google really mean? Will we really be paying for news in the future, or is this just a new global play to find new revenue streams for News which may in fact not be direct from the Consumer. Twitter has done it - so why not News Corporation - or have they missed the boat?

I don't think at this point any of us can assume that the news we currently read freely on the internet will remain that way for the years to come. In an Interview with David Speers on Sky News Australia, News Corporation Chairman and CEO Rupert Murdoch declared he would effectively block Google from searching News Limited websites. This is not a threat; it is a realistic way to stop what he calls the 'stealing' of News' stories without payment. Mr Murdoch referred to Google, Microsoft ASK.

Windows 7 - Should You Upgrade?

When a test version (Beta) of Windows 7 was released by Microsoft in January this year I was unashamedly one of the many who jumped straight online and downloaded a copy. This copy was available to use for free – Microsoft wanted as many keen eyes on this as possible. The comments across the internet were almost unanimously positive. Is it possible Microsoft had put the drama of Windows Vista behind it and come up with a true next generation Windows? Yes.
Portable TV is nothing new. For years people have had little TV’s they’d take to the family BBQ in the Park, or even the ultra-portable handheld which you could take to a Sporting Event.
