Police in Canada's British Columbia reckon they have a theory to explain why six 'disarticulated' feet have washed ashore on that region's coastline.
They have already ruled out the theory that a single serial killer (and foot-focussed)
"A simple and expeditious process of decomposition is responsible instead," as Brian Hutchinson of Canada's National Post writes.
Back in August 2007, when two right feet in size 12 trainers turned up within a week of each other on islands in the Strait of Georgia.
View Larger Map Corporal Garry Cox of the Oceanside RCMP, which polices that Strait, said with typical regional cop understatement that finding two feet in such a space of time was "suspicious". "Finding one foot is like a million to one odds, but to find two is crazy. I've heard of dancers with two left feet, but come on," said Corporal Cox.
