SBS is in the process of developing a new online experience for lovers of world cinema. We’re creating a site dedicated to the foreign language, cult, indie and impactful non-fiction films that we know you love.

SBS Movies will be Australia’s only site dedicated to coverage of global, local and indie cinema, from the films that are going into production to those making their way to your home screens.
We think you’re capable of making up your own mind about what you want to watch but it’s our job to help you make an informed choice. In addition to reviews, there’ll be news, blogs, trailers, features and exclusive interviews with some of the world’s most intriguing filmmakers, all courtesy of an accomplished team of writers and international content partners.
In addition to that, we’ll delve into the considerable archives of SBS to bring you filmmaker retrospectives, and revisit old favourites to see how well they stand up to the test of time.
Exciting? We think so, but hold your horses because it’s still a couple of months away... In the meantime, mark this blog in your favourites as your trusted source of industry news, reviews and exclusive features.
Send through some suggestions of features you’d like in the new site and above all, don’t be shy about expressing your views about the films you love to watch.

gutter channel
Hi SBS; I started watching the replay of Eurovision. It's a total disgrace. Even on the replay you have the gutter mouth talk over the music entries being played. My telly got switched off again quick smart. SBS is just an ethnic cleansing joke now.

I would be very happy if next year the broadcast by better and more clarified commentator, and a bit more intelligent then the one doing this year(2009) which is very poor and very annoying.(Julia) Sorry for been so sincere, but she is horrible. Cristina Lima

Eurovision and Asiavision
I love watching Eurovision each year. This year i'm backing Iceland to win, and probably Turkey and I also like the Swiss song. I'm looking forward to Graham Norton's commentary. Also, I was searching on the net, and found out that there's going to be an Asiavision. And the website also said that Australia will be competing. Is it true SBS? Will Australia compete in the Asia-Pacific Song Contest?

Eurovision 2009
Thought I'd join in the conversation. All the clips are available on the official site - www.eurovision.tv. My tips are Norway to win, with Azerbaijan, Ukraine, Iceland and Greece close behind (as long as Sakis sings better than he did in 2004). I'm heading to over to Moscow for the shows this year (wooo! I have both semis and final tickets!), so I look forward to seeing the taped show and commentary by Graham Norton when I get back to Australia in June.

Eurovision 2009
If you want to see the clips for this years Eurovision most of them are available through the Eurovision website or the youtube channel for Eurovision. I admit to having watched these carefully of late as my friends and I are thinking of running a sweep as to who makes it into the final and who wins. There's some interesting clips this year. Ireland might actually do well for once :)
