Set in the coastal town of the same name,
As a diversion before the finals, Jesse and his mates plan
a weekend away with some local girls. Much to his dismay, Fergus, his geeky,
twin brother gets to tag along. But when Victor and his gang arrive at the
isolated beach an unofficial contest ensues.
This momentous weekend leads them to discover themselves and what’s really important.
To be in the running to win a double in-season pass to the film, simply email your name and mailing address to movieshow@sbs.com.au, with ‘Newcastle’ in the subject line. Passes are valid at participating cinemas from November 6 for the entire screening season. Check newspapers for session details.
