Let’s have a GREEN Christmas!
As the climate hots up, species decline at a terrifying rate and we literally burn through our natural resources, businesses seem to be oblivious to modern green thinking.

This will sound very "bah humbug" of me, but the business world needs to take stock of its environmental values this Christmas.
As the climate hots up, species decline at a terrifying rate and we literally burn through our natural resources, businesses seem to be oblivious to modern green thinking.
I have received a huge pile of (non recycled) cardboard Christmas cards, mostly from people I don't even really know, and a variety of corporate gifts of a cheap plastic nature.
Now, don't get me wrong, it is lovely to be thought about at this time of year.
But what's with the wasting of the world's precious resources just so half the office can wish me Happy Christmas?
Do the world a favour.
Hold off the plastic gumpf destined straight for landfill and embrace the e-card.
Or if you must send a gift, make sure it is environmentally responsible. Many charity groups, like World Vision and Oxfam offer goats and other useful things that end up helping people.
Oh, and Merry Christmas.

Green xmas
Christmas is one time when people generally forget about any other consideration, like the environment etc. A timely reminder!

GREEN Christmas
I know it's environmentally irresponsible to send hundreds of cards, use thousands of metres of wrapping paper and spend money just making other people happy, but the point of Christmas is exactly that, isn't it? To spread a bit of joy? Thoughtfulness can never be underestimated, especially now. I know it's a waste, but spending a few minutes with beautiful paper and ribbon wrapping a present for my son and seeing his face light up is greater reward (of course I use recyclable paper!).
