Sign up for smart advertising
During these challenging financial times small businesses want to improve marketing without spending a fortune. Business signage can be a relatively cheap and effective way of achieving this goal.

One idea is to have a printed banner constructed as they are flexible and very easy to put up. You can also use banners to display 'on sale' items as an inexpensive way to market. Put your banner up wherever possible.
If you have office premises, look for innovative ways to put your
signage up in front of the building and in front of the offices. The
side of a building and windows can also be effective advertising
spaces. If possible, have signage before people get to your premises.
This can particularly be good if you are a retail business like a fast
food outlet and want people to think about making a decision before
they pull over.
For those of you who are on the road a lot, think about the number of
cars you see everyday. You can tell the people in each one of those
people about your business and give them your contact information by
making your car a moving billboard. My car displays my logo, three key
products and my website. This short, sharp and memorable advertising
cost me less than $100!
Tips for signage
1. Keep the message simple.
2. Have your logo and website or phone number on everything.
3. Think of innovative ways to use existing space and locations for signage.
