Apparently last year in America a roller-coaster flew off its tracks and the people inside were all badly injured. Today filming I felt like an emotional roller-coaster... which did the same thing.

The day started off at 5am (as usual, no bludging when you’re an
actor/writer/producer!) and when I got to set to my delight I saw that
the Chef had prepared pancakes for breakfast! Good Thing Number 1.
Fanny (the Asian girl in the show – sorry, major tangent but whenever the director yells "Close up on Fanny" people walking past think we’re making a porn film... when we say, "No, no, it’s just a show for SBS" that doesn’t seem to change their mind) – anyways Fanny thought that me devouring 6 pancakes was too much but I disagreed... and soon after so did my stomach. CUT TO: me racing to the bathroom, and staying there for 20 minutes. Bad Thing Number 1.
Then we filmed this musical sequence called "Fugly Girls Can’t Dance" and Tony the choreographer said that my portrayal of a fugly girl who can’t dance was fabulously precise. I’m taking this as a compliment so: Good Thing Number 2.
Then I got really hungry and ate a whole box of 'Chicken In a Biscuit' (hmmm synthetic chicken flavouring). Revisted the bathroom again: Bad Thing Number 2 (Number 2 very literally).
Okay so footnote: for the past few days I’ve really noticed that the cast have been a bit funny towards me – and in ‘funny’ I mean, like mega bitches. And I’m not sure why this is? I mean I did cut down their per diems (cash actors get to pay for their expenses when they’re away from home) so that I could afford a personal masseur to follow me around on set... but I think that’s pretty reasonable. I have to do some hard core krumping in some songs and that muscle tension must be relieved.
But back to today: I spoke to Tony the Producer at lunch and he said that I should just hold an intervention and address my problems with the cast head on. This method seemed to work when my cousin was addicted to crystal meth so I gathered the cast in the make-up van to talk things through. That ended with me crying. Bad Thing Number 3.
Then I found out that since the filming of Bogan Pride commenced I am the 26543 most famous person in the world (by looking up the imdb.com STARMETER). Good Thing Number 4 (I was like 50000 before!).
Then after celebrating by eating a whole packet of mini cupcakes I made good friends with the toilet once again (Bad Thing Number 4)... where I got interrupted by this lady wanting to empty the sanitary bin (Bad Thing Number 5)... and when I went back into the cubicle some of the ‘bin juice’ went all down my side (Bad Thing Number 6)... and I didn’t know what it was at first so I touched it, then smelt my hand (Bad Things Number 7 and 8).
I hope this show is worth all this!
Rebel xoxo
