This morning a guy come to the gate and said “is Costa here? We have a delivery for him.” We ran to see what he had delivered - it was sand! We asked Costa what it’s for and he said it was a surprise. We dug a big hole and at the bottom of the yard and Costa put in a drainage system and sand so it sucks up the water. Then we all started filling the hole with more sand. Us with little buckets and dad and Jumbo with wheelbarrows.

Costa levelled it all out and then put Dad’s old dinghy in the sand. Then we planted a heap of trees around it. The last thing he did was put our slippery dip into the sand pit and then he told us it was finished. It’s so cool to have our own sand pit to play in!

This week:
We had 15.3 kgs of food scraps.
We used 8000 litres of water for seven days.
Mum did 20 loads of washing.
