The gold price has been trading at record highs recently, with the New York price reaching US$1422 per ounce.

As mentioned in my previous blog, the latest spike came after the US Federal Reserve injected US$600billion of stimulus into the economy.

But how for how long will investors be attracted to this so-called safe haven asset, and what are the different ways to get exposure to the shining metal?
