The Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas is up and running, and while Apple doesn’t take part, and this is Microsoft’s last year participating, it still holds its significance because it’s the largest show of its kind in the world.

Smart televisions and thin laptops are all the rage.

So too, are portable television screens.
