This year’s Giro d’Italia sets the stage for an epic showdown between the last two Tour de France champions, Bradley Wiggins and Cadel Evans, as well as defending champion Ryder Hesjedal and home favourite Vincenzo Nibali.

Unfinished business for Evans at 2014 Giro

Cadel Evans will put his full focus toward the Giro d'Italia in 2014, in what could be the last Grand Tour outing of his career. The Australian has boldly decided to skip the Tour de France in a bid to enhance his chances of taking out the prestigious Italian event, which will start in Belfast, Northern Ireland next year.
