SBS television's Mike Tomalaris will host the Cycling Central program from the finish line of the McDonalds 50th Grafton to Inverell Cycle Classic.

The Cycling Central program will air from the Inverell finish line on Sunday 24th October and carry some brief highlights from the Classic, which will be captured by four cameras.

Three motorbike cameras and one filming from a helicopter will provide some stunning footage of the race and get all the race action.

The following week, on October 31, Cycling Central will carry a more extensive half hour of coverage of the McDonalds 50th Grafton to Inverell.

Organisers are pleased with the support from SBS and the exposure it will bring to the race.

The event has had an incredible period of growth over the past three years due to the fantastic sponsorship from McDonalds and the ever increasing media coverage.

The race has always been regarded as the “Toughest one day race in Australia” and can now lay claim to be the biggest with 540 competitors listed as starters.

The Grafton to Inverell will be staged on Saturday 23rd of October.
