Baden Cooke to ride for Dutch Continental team Vacansoleil.

Australian sprint specialist Baden Cooke has signed a one-year contract with Dutch outfit Vacansoleil, the second tier Continental Pro team.

The Australian veteran has previously ridden for Française des Jeux, Unibet and Barloworld and had signed to ride the 2009 season with the American registered team, Rock Racing.

Cooke, 30, is a five-time Tour de France participant claiming the Green Jersey and one stage win in 2003.

Vacansoleil, managed by Daan Luijkx, has 22 racers on its books and the squad will be unveiled on January 9 in Geertruidenberg.
