The International Cycling Union (UCI) has released the schedule for the 2013 the RockyRoads UCI Mountain Bike World Cup.
The circuit will run across eight nations and events and will include five cross-country eliminator (XCE) rounds and six each for downhill (DHI) and Olympic cross-country (XCO).
One new event has been added, with a Cross-country/eliminator race in the new venue of Albstadt, Germany, opening the season on May 18-19.
The season will get under way for the DHI specialists three weeks later in Fort William, Scotland.
The opening event in Albstadt brings the XCO and XCE disciplines up to six events, the same as the Downhill, while the Eliminator increases to five.
After organising a successful test event in 2012, the city of Guiyang, in China, will now look to host a round of the UCI Mountain Bike World Cup in 2014.
