Posthuma wins Ruta del Sol

Rabobank's Joost Posthuma has won the Ruta del Sol racefollowing the final stage from Torrox to Antequera in Andalucia,

DavideRebellin of Serramenti finished nine seconds clear of the peloton totake the stage honours and his second stage victory of the Tour.

Rebellinwas one of five riders to cross the Torcal climb with 14km remainingbut the Serramenti rider could not open up a big enough gap to claimthe overall victory.

Posthuma finished sixth to hold on tooverall victory by two seconds from Xavier Tondo with Rebellin third, afurther second back.
