SBS will broadcast five of cycling’s spring classic races live throughout March and April.

The SBS spring classics season will kick off on Monday 24 March (AEDT) live from Italy with Milan-San Remo.

From there it is on to Belgium on Monday 7 April for the Tour of Flanders (Ronde van Vlaanderen) before heading to France for the famous Paris-Roubaix on Sunday 13 April.

Attention then turns to the hills of the Ardennes with the Amstel Gold Race on Sunday 20 April with Liege-Bastogne-Liege rounding out the offering on Sunday 27 April.

The spring Classics are widely considered some of the oldest and most-prestigious one-day races on the cycling calendar.

SBS will also broadcast highlights of Fleche-Wallone on Monday 5 May.

All events are LIVE to Eastern time zones, check you guides for specific local times elsewhere. All events will be live-streamed on the Cycling Central website.

Australia Simon Gerrans, Simon Clarke, Nathan Haas and Adam Hansen will all be competing for top honours in the Amstel Gold Race while Gerrans will also line up for the Liege-Bastogne-Liege.

Tour of Flanders (Belgium) is LIVE from 12:00am Monday 7 April on SBS ONE with live streaming online at www.sbs.com.au/cyclingcentral.

Paris-Roubaix (France) is LIVE from 9:30pm Sunday 13 April SBS ONE with live streaming online at www.sbs.com.au/cyclingcentral. It will be hosted by award-winning cycling journalist Michael Tomalaris with former professional cyclist Henk Vogels. Phil Liggett and Paul Sherwen will provide commentary.

Amstel Gold Race (Netherlands) is LIVE from 11:05pm Sunday 20 April on SBS ONE with live streaming online at www.sbs.com.au/cyclingcentral.

Liege-Bastogne-Liege (Belgium) is LIVE from 10:35pm Sunday 27 April on SBS ONE with live streaming online at www.sbs.com.au/cyclingcentral. It will be hosted by Michael Tomalaris and former professional cyclist David McKenzie.
