Cycling Central will be streaming the unveiling of the course for the 2013 Tour de France, the 100th edition of the Grand Boucle, live on Wednesday (AEDT).
The first four stages of the Tour, which begins on the island of the Corsica on 29 June, 2013, have already been announced,
The first stage from Porto-Vecchio to Bastia is similar to stages run at the Criterium International the last few years. An uncharacteristically hilly second stage from Bastia to Ajaccio may force an early sortie from the general classification contenders before the windy coastal roads of Stage 3, Ajaccio to Calvi, returns to the realms of the sprinters.
A team time trial has already been announced for Stage 4 in Nice, but the distance has yet to be revealed.
The rest of the route will be announced live on Cycling Central, Wednesday 2025 AEDT live, so tune in online sbs.com.au/cyclingcentral.
