Redlands Sunset Loop

Ahhhhh, the come down! After 4 days of incredibly tough racing, being
amongst the action for the most part, here I am on Monday morning with
legs that don't feel like they were on the verge of cramping at the end
of 150km yesterday.

Playing my cards

Successful Living Foundation worked their butts off today as they towed
me around the 155km stage.

Cycling
is one of those sports where you never really get too many

curse.

Good sensations

I can see now that I needed the Tour of California for my form at the Tour of California. You can't just go to without any races in your legs and expect to get results.

Done and dusted

Man, that was a tough week of racing! You could see in the peloton that
there were a lot of guys suffering in the last few days of the tour.

Bowled over

The final stage will be one of the hardest days on the tour with the climb up to Palomar, a famed climb in southern California.

Get me a nurse!

Yesterday was the longest stage of the tour, a dead flat affair with about seven corners in the space of 225km.

The tide will turn

Looking at yesterday's stage profile, we were pretty eager to have a
crack at getting in the early breakaway so that we could show our
wares.

Just to prove to you all that it's raining a lot here, we woke up with six centimeters of water flooding the hallway of our hotel.

Flooded roads, fallen power lines, trees and debris strewn over the
road were all factors that detracted from the fact that today we passed
over the famous Golden Gate Bridge.
