Aaron Thomas came to Dateline in 2007. Before that, he spent four years as Foreign Producer for the ABC's Lateline program.
Aaron’s experience as a producer and editor spans 16 years, working for a number of international broadcasters including Reuters Television in Tokyo and the BBC, ITN, ABC America and ZDF (Germany) in London.
He has a BA in Film & Television from Curtin University, and a Masters in International Relations from UNSW.
He's also worked on oddball projects ranging from a short film set in a Welsh coal mining town to Samoa's broadcast of the South Pacific Games and a documentary series on Islamic architecture, for BBC World.
