More and more Westerners - including Australians, it appears - are
travelling abroad to get transplants, particularly kidneys - currently
the world's most sought-after organ.
This boom in so-called transplant tourism has caused the World Health
Organisation to recently express alarm at the sale of kidneys by poor
donors to cater for this surging demand.
Elizabeth Tadic has
been in Pakistan to investigate this pernicious trade.
