Kevin Rudd's apology to the Stolen Generation.
Fontaine
is a dedicated and highly respected leader in Canada and has been
instrumental in facilitating change and advancement for the Indigenous
population in Canada.
The AFN National Chief applauded the
Australian government for its leadership and decision to apologise to
its Indigenous population, a feat which leaders in Canada have yet to
do.
