Paul McGeough, Chief Correspondent for the Sydney Morning Herald, is on assignment for Dateline in Afghanistan for a special report on the battle against the Taliban.

In this exclusive co-production with the SMH, McGeough teams with veteran cameraman David Brill to report on a new, US$100 million highway being built by the international security forces through hostile territory in this war torn nation.



The Taliban are determined to stop the project.
