Dateline’s David Brill returns to Afghanistan and finds a surreal slice of American life at the giant Bagram Air Base.
The 25,000 people at the military compound can shop, eat and be pampered and entertained in an improvised mall, just like at home.

David Brill also from Afghanistan in Colonel Campbell's War, where he updates 2009's story about the battle against the Taliban, Highway to Hell.
