Life on the Line

It looks like madness, but one of the quickest ways to get around Manila is on a makeshift trolley on the railway line, dodging between trains.

The illegal, and potentially dangerous, mode of transport is an answer to the massive congestion on the streets of the Philippines' capital.

Video journalist Mark Davis has been to meet some of them and hears their hopes that one day they’ll get off the rails.

Watch his fascinating insight into life in Manila.
