The UK goes to the polls on Thursday 6th May, but there’s a different look to this election campaign, as the political parties face the real possibility of a hung parliament with none of them having a majority.
The Conservatives, led by David Cameron, are trying to modernise their traditional image by fielding candidates like the openly gay David Gold and black single mum Loanna Morrison.
The Liberal Democrats, generally seen as the third party, are making the most of Cleggmania, following the success of leader Nick Clegg’s appearance in one of the party leaders’ TV debates.
While the current Labour Prime Minister Gordon Brown is concentrating on continuing economic recovery, along with investing in schools, hospitals and policing.
