Video Journalism

Dateline is able to get such an in-depth and personal look at stories because our reporters primarily work on their own as video journalists.

During the recent filming of David O'Shea's stories from Spain and Indonesia, we were able to get some behind the scenes pictures of him at work.

He talks to Online Producer Andrew Sainsbury and explains what it's like being a reporter and cameraman and the advantages and disadvantages of working as a VJ.
