The world has watched recently as violent protests have wreaked havoc in Athens, amid Greece’s struggle with its economic meltdown.
Video journalist Aaron Lewis gets to the people of all ages and backgrounds protesting over government cuts, which have seen increases in unemployment and taxes set against cuts in salaries and pensions.
In their words, they’re the ones having to pay for their government’s incompetence.
And with another set of austerity measures just passed, there seems no easy answer over what will solve this European financial crisis.
