SBS Dateline | Reporting from Afghanistan

Presenter and reporter Yalda Hakim had just a couple of weeks to film Dateline's special program from Afghanistan.

She was there to mark the 10th anniversary of the allied invasion, reporting on the country's fragile politics and the struggle for ordinary Afghanis.

For this behind the scenes feature, Yalda talks about some of the issues her and SBS cameraman Ryan Sheridan faced, and how they found their way around in such a potentially dangerous place.
