How Can the Tamils Co-Exist with the Sinhalese
"I am not worried about the opinion of the Tamil people... now we cannot think of them, not about their lives or their opinion... the more you put pressure in the north, the happier the Sinhala people will be here... Really if I starve the Tamils out, the Sinhala people will be happy." J.R.Jayawardene, Former President of Sri Lanka - Daily Telegraph, 11th July 1983. This has been the fate of the Tamils since 1948 with every govt. in power.

It has been rightly listed that In July 1983 for the death of 13 soldiers (not civilians) 4000 TAMIL CIVILIANS were butchered by Sinhala mobs as directed by the then Govt. This has escaped your memory. Such repeated killings by Sinhalese hierarchy have pushed Tamils into clamouring for restoration of the separate state for Tamils that existed before the occupation of the British. There is no 'democracy' in your democratically elected govt. It is dictatorship. Sincere Tamils have no voice.

Many bomblasts in early stages were twisted as suicide-bombing just to implicate the LTTE. UNP MPs have mentioned that LTTE is not the only group responsible for certain suicide-bombings. e.g. Killing of Janaka Perera. So, it clearly indicates that ruling terrorists are involved in such killings. Re the Website, the killings in that list are only allegations propagated by the govt. and beyond proof. Even assuming that those killings are by LTTE. More details about killings are in part 3.

Any bomblasts occuring in any part of the Sinhalese area are immediately attributed to LTTE without even analysing the event. This has been happening from as early as 1983 even though many other armed groups were operating against the Sinhala nation. There is room to believe that these groups were backed by Indian policy-makers. Now it is interesting to note that these group puppets are holding high positions in the SL Govt. They are still armed. They can kill and blame the LTTE as before.

Independance
Since the dawn of time people have always looked for that ideal place to call home, for the tamils this home is sri-lanka and from the oppression suffered by the tamil people since britain granted the country independance the tamil tigers emerged. If tamil tigers are to be considered terrorist then great men like George Washington who fought for Americas independance from the british has just as much in common to Prabakaran. So i ask with the most sincere of heart please grant us our holy land.
