Whaling

I have previously requested that Dateline does a report about the Slaughtering of Whales in DENMARK. Obviously Dateline has NO GUTS to do this as they might be scared to "rock the boat" as it involves the country of Princess Mary. Yet they are keen to investigate Japan for the same attrocities. Denmark is not doing this for research if you look at the numbers of whales being killed and this is the similarity with Japan. The amount they kill could not possibly be a quota to their nation.

Why does your network fear doing a report on This Abusing government ?

If these so called professional journalists,As George here, can conduct such great stories of other counties Government and the propaganda. Why is it that these Great journalists cant/wont conduct the truth of this Nation?.Everyday a child dies or is abused,Everyday a family is ripped apart. If sbs can conduct a documentary to save whales, why cant sbs do a documentary of the Abused families of this nation conducted by the Aust government.?.If SBS did do just that, their station will be flooded.

Conspiracy!

Amazing SBS, just amazing. I suppose the vested interests would like to see a pro western smiling face Caricature as the president of South Africa, smiling and always happy!... well, it is slightly strange when we compare 15 years of real independence to decades upon decades of apartheid... Like it or not a representative of the majority will be chosen to govern and you and I know who the majority are... ZUMA it will be.

Keep Going

Alister Sparks knows that Mandela desperately asked the ANC to arrange rally any where in Eastern Cape, where he'll publicly endorse it--just as he already did when the ANC turned 97 (back in January). But for People like Sparks, Mandela is senile to make his own decision. So, he's getting dragged to ANC Ralles. I wonder what is he' going to say after this Sunday, as Madiba once again endorsed the party.

Listen to the voice of THE PEOPLE, not the politicians

Watching this story made me extremely angry and digusted. The outside world has no clue to what the REAL political climate is in South Africa. That babble about progress in poverty and reduction of crime- is bull. There is no equility. Ask any South African and he will give you the truth- BECAUSE WE LIVED THERE and that's why we came here. I want to raise my voice to inform people about the TRUTH. I wouldn't sell everything I own to start a new life here if there were no REAL PROBLEMS??

When Superstition Wins

This tragic & disturbing story is yet another example of what happens when superstitions triumphs over truth and reason. Who is to blame? The Bone Traders? I would take it a couple of steps further. It is the believers in all faiths, right down to the little old Church of England lady.. By supporting there own faith against evidence and reason they are, in effect, legitimising all others to believe what they like. Once faith and beliefs triumphs, the effects are usually deadly for someone.

More bare-faced lies from the ANC

Amazing how George Negus allows Thandi Modise to get away with such bare-faced lies about the ANC's progress against poverty, crime and engendering a sense of belonging for all South Africans. Ask the estimated one million South Africans disenfranchised by the ANC since it came to power. These are the people who fled its misrule and now live in self-imposed exile. In the historical 1994 elections, South Africans living abroad were allowed to vote, but the ANC regime soon put a stop to that.

Conspiracy? - Which particular conspiracy this time out of hundreds to choose from?

It is indeed a pity that you are only able to give a glance into the corruption of just one man - when the entire government is awash with corruption. It is indeed a pity that you are unable to reveal just how much corruption exists when corruption is endemic and the people, both black, but mainly white now suffer. Why sit in comfort and get and make fatuous comments about sports when you can honest reports like the following:- http://news.bbc.co.uk/today/hi/today/newsid_8005000/8005551.stm
