Do not compare the Eelam Tamils with other minorities.

From ancient times the history of the island is about two people. The SInhalese and the Indegenous Eelam Tamisl of the Norht and East. These are the only two people that had owned land and had ruled the island., all other minorities like the largley Indian origin Tamil Muslims, Indian TamilsBurghers and Malays came very much later and lived amongst these tow people and were ruled by them. The Eelam Tamisl and the Sinhalese are like the Scots and the English in Britain.

Its great to hear some honest and balanced views from a prominent Tamil. As a Muslim minority originating from SL who speaks Tamil as the 1st language, I honestly believe SL is one of the better places in the world for minorities, that is not to say that it is perfect, far from it, but I choose to fight the system within.
