Democracy, independence and freedom
Iran need democracy, independence and freedom. this is possible, if all iranians inside and outside iran decide to stand together. right now, we have an "National Council of Resistance" based in Paris with 5 parties. http://ncr-iran.org/content/view/6046/ stand together, accept diversity, and remember that diversity makes us stronger. take care

george was polite and patient with this interviewee, who was the heir to a murderous, torturing and corrupt dynasty, which robbed the iranian nation of billions of dollars. i was attached to the australian embassy in tehran in the 70's and was nauseated by the behaviour of the regime to its people and its arrogance towards foreign and diplomatic residents. it was sickening to witness our diplomats reporting favourably on the shah and his family, whom they brownnosed at every opportunity.

Prince Reza Pahlavi#2
if one has knowledge about history could easily remember that Khomeini (supreme leader of Iran) returned back to Iran via an Air France Air Plane and the person who holds Khomeini's hand at the time of taking of the plane was no one except that French Pilot!! BBC at that time had direct involvement in Iran's revolution and directly and continuously sent Khomeini's messages to Iranian people. BBC also influenced Iranian people and indirectly or even directly encouraged them to rally against Shah.

RE: Prince Reza Pahlavi
Dear George, It was a long time that I was thinking of finding a way to talk to you after your interview with Prince Reza Pahlavi. In fact, I just wanted to advise you to please speak a bit more politely when you are talking to our Prince, Prince Reza Pahlavi. First of all, his father was never overthrown by Iranians but the revolution was led at the time by British and French Government.

We want Democracy
Dear George, I think this was a great interview. I largely agree with what Reza Pahlavi had to say & had it come from anyone else lips, I might have even believed them. My parents marched the streets in 78/79 with dreams of democracy locked in their hearts & cries for Freedom on their lips. The Iranians toppled his father precisely because he denied them liberty, personal freedom and democracy. The same things his son seem to be advocating now.

Thank you George, You should be very proud to have interviewed such a great man. He deserves to be interviewed by the likes of David Frost. We refer to his Washington international press club interview. I am sure you were impressed and ovewelmed by his princely manners, ignoring your leftist biassed interjections. We belive that due to your leftist views you treat the terrorist, princely, but unsuccessfully tried to trush our prince. This is unfair. It is not faithful reporting and interview.

Lets respect Freedom fighters
if we compare it to the current regime there is no doubt that the number of people killed, tortured and imprisoned has greatly exceeded by such an unimaginable margin, estimated to be about 200,000 people plus another 1 million people killed in the eight year war with Iraq. The Mojehadin was opposed to this type of authoritarin rule right from the start. They are fighting for democracy and social values that wil benefit the prosperity if Iran. We shouldnt be mistaken about them. Lets show respect

Freedom fighters
In a country that has been always been under a sole authoritarian rule where one man dictates for the rest, tortures and kills anyone showing opposition to its rule, it is not right to accuse the Mojahedin for the path they have chosen as there is no other way. Under the Pahlavi rule this happened with the use of a secret police called SAVAK which was created by the British and Americans to suppress any opposition by means of torture and execution. However comparing the SAVAK to the current...
