The Last Post

There have been a massive 17 posts in this "discussion", the 1st 23/11/09, it's now 23/3/10. Is 4 months all we're prepared to give back to this only known survival provider in the Universe? And do you think 17 posts will go beyond Copenhagen? Fair go, you cannot live on cars, gadgets and concrete. Give the anti reform lobbyists the boot, possibly enough to send them to Jupiter. And stick you hands in the soil sometimes rather than your computer game, you'd be surprised at your discoveries.

Changing the climate via Wall St.

First hyped media frenzy I remember was of spray cans affecting the ozone layer, causing the "greenhouse effect". That was around late 1960. 40 years on, with industrial pollution compounded a hundred fold, the "market economy" built on the war arsenal, chemicals, technology and gadgets obsession, the debate has frenzied out of control, while the disasters keep mounting. No one recognises that the Earth is a living organism, over abused and exploited, with dire consequences. Humans? Big mistake.

Australian climate modification

climate engineering huge tides = huge erosion of land tidal channels = desalination = more rain = cooler climate = huge carbon sink see: http://whitepaper.climatechange.gov.au/greenp... or http://www.royalcommission.vic.gov.au/Submiss...

Global warming

Dear Sir, The world's leaders, and politicians, have been ignoring the scientists', and climatologists', warnings for over 30 years. No matter what action we take now, it will be too little, too late. The level of the seas is slowly rising, threatening all the islands, and all the coastal areas. In other words, we have reached the point of no return. Only God can stop the Polar ice melting, the glaciers melting, the permafrost melting and Greenland melting. I do not think that Divine Intervention will occur. God gave us a brain and expects us to use it. So, we can all sit back, relax, and watch the slow destruction of our planet, and the eventual extinction of the human race. Regards, John Salamis

Rapeseed to fuel

I would love to see the Govt relax the fuel excise so that it would be cost effective to do this exercise. Could you point me in the direction on where to find a machine similar to the one shown on your show. Most informative show keep them coming.

Great program with the Copenhagen/India connection

A really great combination of the Copenhagen/India connection, especially the Sanso Island community. Coming from a farming background I can relate to the whole concept. Now involved in the environment with landscape design I am passionate about trees. When will the respective governmenrs stop tthe degradation of the Amazon/Indonesia forests. regards Cedric Bryant

CO2 is NOT the #1 cause of global warming.

It is a known and undeniable fact that the socialist radicals switched their political campaign to "global warming" after the fall of communism where they had nothing to hang their hat on any longer, and no one would listen to them, and gone was their power. In the 1940's to 1970s, the whole world was meeting and having their "Copenhagen" to combat GLOBAL COOLING during the "Mini-Ice age" When the London rivers were freezing over and markets were even built on them for months at a time.
