has SBS given up on reporting on Sri Lanka's victims of State Terrorism?
I have been struggling in my mind against the conclusion that the SL government is trying to kill or terrorize as many Tamil people as possible; that the government is trying to keep the conditions of the war unreported internationally, because if those conditions were reported, the actions of the military would be perceived as so deplorable that foreign nations would have no choice but to condemn them. And this would be embarrassing to everybody. But it seems now that no other conclusion is...

What is true?
There are many channels, many parties claiming one another saying about war crimes have happened in Sri Lanka. It was a remarkable fact that the WAR was in between Sri Lankan Army and LTTE Terrorists. Even LTTE bombed, shelled Major cities-(Colombo,Gampaha..) and Religious places(Temple of tooth relic-Kandy) and killed many civilians-including Tamils and Sinhalese. It is obvious that Civilians should be treated highly.. But does US not killing people in Afganistan or MIddle east? Need the TRUTH!

It is praise worthy that SBS Australia has finally awaken up to the realities .I have been writing to them as many years. They were pretending to be asleep What can you do to waken person , but whatcan youdo to a perosnpretending to bealseep.
This war should have been stopped long ago. Tamils were demanding an end to discrimination, torture, abduction of prominent Tamils by paramilitaries.Mr S J V Chelvanyagm,QC proposed a federal solution- a simple political reform. Now the UNP is asking for that. The LTTE terrorism would not have arisen. The young people took up arms. They refused to bow down to their elders, SJV was a prophet like Mahatma Gandhi. He believed in non violence. The entire world is demanding a political solution.Sam.

God has started punishing the Sri Lanka for it's massacre of innocent Tamils
severe flooding has killed many sinhalese this week (which happens to be the first year anniversary) of the 'end of the war' in shlt lanka. By May 18, 2009 50,000 Tamils had been killed by Sri Lanka's Sinhalese Army. There is going to be bigger punishment for the sinhalese murderers soon, a bigger tsunami that will wipe out the genocidal maniacs

the Tamil people should live in their own historic homeland as an independent nation, in peace, in freedom and with dignity
It is the Sri Lanka government which has failed to learn the lessons from the emergence of the struggles for self determination in several parts of the globe and the innovative structural changes that have taken place. We are not chauvinists. Neither are we lovers of violence enchanted with war. We do not regard the Sinhala people as our opponents or as our enemies. We recognise the Sinhala nation. We accord a place of dignity for the culture and heritage of the Sinhala people. We have no desire to interfere in any way with the national life of the Sinhala people or with their freedom and independence. We, the Tamil people, desire to live in our own historic homeland as an independent nation, in peace, in freedom and with dignity.

Unspeakable Truth
Reality is that Tamils cry discrimination only because they dont get 90% government jobs and other excessive benefits. Tamils want Sinhalese and Muslims to live like 2nd class citizens being the slaves of Tamils. LTTE kept killing thousands of Sinhalese and Muslims and funny that international community did not take any action to stop the genocide perpetrated by the LTTE.
