Apologise

The true story has been told. The soldiers were not to blame. SBS should apologise to the soldiers and their families

Free Afghanistan

I feel sorry for their families but they have nothing to do there. They are out in Afghanistan killing innocent civilians - they should leave immediately. They are like the Israelis - Do not occupy Afghanistan - leave immediately, it will be better for both countries.

Afghan

From: Melbourne

The mission is to win HEARTS or ALIENATE the locals?

Acts such as these will only further alienate the local Afghan population from the foreign forces who are there to help as they say. Breaking into an Afghans family is the biggest insult to his dignity, and killing his innocent family members is completely out of the question. Whether people like it or not, but the Pashtunwali law requires any unlawful wrong doing to be avenged accordingly. Incidents like these have triggered a cycle of revenge that will last until the last man standing.

@SWtan

SWtan the death of 5 kis and an adult was first reported by Ltn. General MARK EVANS from ADF and this is reported by Dateline in this story. So I guess your notion of 'ballance report' is if Dateline was to refute the ADF's own initial report and prove it otherwise?! That would be 'ballance', right? I know its hard for you to come to tems with but I suggest you accept the guilt and live with it! Here is the other similar incident exposed: http://www.nytimes.com/2010/04/05/world/asia/05afghan.htm

To every sly ex-commi and potential propaganda terrorist:

Practice what you preach, don't try to set benchmarks for others particularly when your own track record shouts injustice, crimes against humanity .i.e hiroshima , drug dealing .i.e John Deutch's CIA and torture i.e Abu Ghraib/GITMO... Get to know us, get to know our concerns and dig below the surface before you judge us. Every man has the right to defend his land & property and you can not obscure this fact by stamping fancy labels. Pull ur troops out b4 they are sucked in the oblivion...

I did get that point thank you. The report was still one sided. How many people would have read the Blog on the Dateline site? Most would take the story as the WHOLE truth. Again My point. THE WHOLE REPORT HAS NOT COME OUT YET. Can I make it any more clear! Thanks for the personal attack. At that age I was well aware of where Afghan was. My education was quite comprehensive. As for your experience I withdraw my comment condemning you and apologies. However my experience is just as valid as yours. We have both experienced war.
