I was disgusted in these Australian soldiers and the Australian army for trying to cover it up and not except what they've done, the soldiers should be brought to justice there's no exception for these sort of mistakes, whoever was behind this operation should suffer the harsh consequences of their actions. that is straight out murder of a innocent family i really felt for this family, and you wonder why the majority of Afghani people are not supportive of our and other forces in Afghanistan...

From a plea from RAWA Afghanistan - http://www.rawa.org

Today, on the 8th of March, Afghan women are mourning for the gang-rape of Bashiras and Saimas, for being flogged by most lowed elements, for being auctioned in open market and for their young daughters who put an end to their miserable lives by self-immolation. But the perpetrators of all these crimes are forgiven; therefore they enjoy complete immunity, are still holding their official positions and tightening it through plundering our people and country. - You can help at sawa-australia.org

ROE

Soldiers serving in the ADF if engaged are allowed to return fire as their right to protect themselves. It is also a requirement that a uniformed member uses such necessary force to protect their mates other Australian Soldiers and that the force is only utilised for the minimum period required to stop the opposing force. This is not an occupation, this mission is a stabilisation and reconstruction effort to help a soveregn country with democracy as requested by their govt. Support our troops

Thats why right from the very start I emphasized that Sun Tzu is irrelevant! What matters the most is the undeniable fact that the poorest country on earth is being pounded by 40+ countries in the name of "terrorism", a "terrorism" that is a direct result of irresponsbile & inhumane foreign policy advocated by a few leading powers. Bringing peace & harmony with guns & B52s is like intercoursing for virginity. Take your troops home, we are capable of determining our futur!

Established 1945 - the UN - what has it achieved. Vested interest puppet diplomacy?

Children are killed, murdered, maimed physically and emotionally for life by the atrocities and unavoidable mistakes of warfare and armed conflict. They bear the ultimate brunt of the selfish, egotistic behaviour of "adults" who forgot they were a child once and don't give a damn about who lives or dies in the course of their satanic mania. My disgust goes out to all those who are complicit, and there are thousands but they should all end up at the international war criminal courts in The Hague.

Report was a Disgrace

After airing a similar report last year which you later found was a complete fraud it is extraordinary that you would again air such a one-sided, ill informed and misleading report. We should be supporting our Australian soldiers and respecting that the incident is under investigation. One of the obvious questions not raised in the report is if our soldiers were fired upon and were acting in self defence. Our soldiers would obviously not intentionally kill civilians. The report was a disgrace!

quote from Stanley McChrystal

"In the Afghan culture, a man's home is more than just his residence .. He has been conditioned to respond aggressively in defense of his home and his guests whenever he perceives his home or honor is threatened," .. "In a similar situation most of us would do the same." "This reaction is compounded when our forces invade his home at night, particularly when women are present. Instinctive responses to defend his home and family are sometimes interpreted as insurgent acts, with tragic results."
