Good Versus Evil

To quote Edmund Burke, "The only thing necessary for the triumph of evil is for good men to do nothing." By hiding the reality of what is happening in Afghanistan and attempting to discredit those exposing the evil acts the United States commit against civilians, the truth in Edmund Burke's statement is as true today as it has been throughout history.

Leaks are everything

It was also noted that Moscow was well aware that the Chinese communists where funding the mujahadeen (so much for your comrades helping you out) who where receiving CIA training in insurgency tactics which was to come in very handy in decades to come. The americans, typical of their conceited arrogance, chose to ignore this very accurate assesment of future devolopements. Then in the early ninties came the Taliban and it all began...

In 1989 as the last of the Soviet troops pulled out, the Soviet generals warned their American counterparts, that with their troops not present to stabilise the area, that islamic fundamentalism would eventually get out of control in the area and it would spread. They also bluntly pointed out that they had, by funding the mujahadeen freedom fighters (those same freedom fighters are now referred to as "insurgents") they had created potentially a situation that could be a problem in the future.

Great Video

Anyone who would disagree with Julian or the goal of WikiLieaks is disillusioned! I cannot believe that would slag him off just for showing the truth, shame on you! Keep up the good work Julian, you have the whole world's support!

Maybe tomorrow?

It's sad. It's sad that the notion of freedom of speech is hamstrung by the very agencies that proclaim it as their own. Self indulgence spawns its own come back. Run Assange, run while you can. Your hideous act of exposing people (Afghans) just trying to get by is abominable. I hope someone gives you up so you know how it feels.
