UNFAIR and UNBALANCED

George Negus The program you aired is poor, and biased. The divisions in South Africa run deep, and long. Its a war that has been ongoing longer than 150 years earlier than the first settlement of Australia. That the division is along a line of colour, does not imply that either side are racist - in a sense that either side deem themselves to be innately superior along a Darwinian evolutionary, eugenics mindset set. The lines were drawn long before Darwin stepped aboard the Beagle.

as a white person i think that the white south Africans are absolutely fanatical and remind me of Nazi Germany, against the Jewish nation. Also the farmers sound like they are living back in the 18 century, when will these people ever learn and understand that white people are not superior than any other ethnic group. its simply outrages and heartbreaking!

Show someting positive!

I watched the program about the AWB a few weeks ago and it is still bothering me. Why is it that negativity and sensationalism still sells? Google "RE Foundation" and have a look at what many white South-Africans do for their fellow black Africans. I challenge you to make a program about that!

ANTI-WHITE RACISM

Your programme should have been more informed about the killing of over 45,000 whites at the hands of Black Africans. I know of a white woman in Jo'burg who was raped and tortured while dying. You never mentioned these facts that all 45,000 have been murdered by Black African thugs. Why isn't the mainstream media of the world, covering this? Now that the World Cup has finished, why isn't the mainstream media also showing over 600,000 white South Africans living in poverty?Where is DATELINE?

Imbalance

...A similar imbalance exists in Zambia (where I was brought up) as well as in Zimbabwe (and in other African countries, I'm sure). Evidence shown in the report suggests that the equivalent of the ongoing retribution on white farmers in Zimbabwe has been quietly going on for some time in South Africa too. I am devastated! *Both* sides have suffered injustices, and *neither* side is blameless. It is such a complex situation, however like an earlier comment said: nobody deserves to live in fear...

Imbalance

It seems to me that the black majority effectively have control over who is in government because they have the numbers, however at the grass roots level it is still the white minority (and now some corrupt black officials) that have the money and own the land. The end of apartheid may have seen a change in government and policy, but it didn't change the fact that the majority of whites are comparatively far richer than the majority of blacks. Such an imbalance is sure to cause ongoing conflict.

Africa must wake up!!!

Being African its hard for me not to find this situation embarrassing. Racism is embarrassing & shouldn't be condoned in the least. Everyone playing a role in this is blatantly selfish. We have a younger generation that needs real leaders to look up to. What happens now has repurcussions in the future. A lot of us are from a generation that has scars from history. Two wrongs don't make a right. Africa must wake up!!!
