Enough with the labelling

These guys are trying hard to not represent anything but their music. It's easy to attach labels and draw attention, but from what I know of them, they're just musicians trying to convey some feeling of themselves through their music. You can analyze it and interpret it to mean a lot, but music is what it is. Punk has never been about how well you play your instrument or how well you can navel gaze. It's a state of being more than anything else, and the Kominas are most definitely punk.

George Negus apologetic...again

Negus HAD to say something about upsetting Muslims again, didn't he... Who cares? The only thing about the Kaminas I found offensive was their dreadful music... but interesting lyrics. Negus seemed to think he had to apologise to Muslims for the antics of the group, and that almost everyone should be offended by "Islamic punk" or whatever it's called. These Muslims didn't say too much about anything which would impact on non-Muslims, except perhaps for non-idolising references to bin Laden.

Life with honour

I find this trend of no regard for self honour and self respect in punjabis in pakistan as well. They just wanna be alive, thats the motto of their life.I think its just a new trend now adays, swear at islam and get popular, u will get attention in the media, i mean everywhere. I think the punjabis know themselves very well that is KAMINAS, the name they choose for themselves. Let me say this, they only represent themselves and those dancing for them. absulotelydisgusting
