I watched a dvd late last year which I now own and have made as many girls, men watch it.its a true story based in Iran.I have never cried so much in a film, it is the disgusting what happends to these women and girls from the hands of these so called men of Islam..if the men of Islam fell off the face of the earth what a wonderful place these women, girls could live in..Honour killings..what the hell..I have read many books fom the middle east and they are all distressing..

Islam and Iran

Iran is a sovereign nation. The people of Iran are civilised. Islam is a modern progressive religion, not rigid. Its laws are flexible, interpreted by its great Imams, according to today's conditions. If more than 90% majority of the Iranians during 1979 revolution voted with their feet and pen for Islamic law and the democratically elected Iranian parliament ratifies these laws, then who are the Western media to judge Iran. Isn't this simply interference in national Iranian and Islamic affairs?

Live and let live

No Proud American. In democratic societies women aren't persecuted just because they're women to uplift mens egos and make them feel better about themselves. Free speech is just that, free speech, without penalty. Anyway, this woman is in jail for alleged adultery even though she was widowed. H e l l o, last time I looked adultery took TWO people. Men need to take responsibility for their deeds and stop blaming others. It's shows their low IQ. If it weren't for a woman you wouldn't exist

Nowhere in the Qur'an stoning to death has been laid down as punishment for adultery

The punishment is 100 stripes, no distinction having been made whether the guilty persons are married or unmarried . Flogging and not stoning to death, according to verse 24.3, is the prescribed punishment. in the Qur'an, where punishment for adultery for a married slave-girl is mentioned it is stated that she will get half the punishment prescribed for that of a free, married woman (4:26), and evidently the punishment of stoning to death cannot be halved.

Thanks For your needed program about IRAN

Dear Readers I am a Iranian man who migrated to Australia. Just want to mention that Iran's stupid government killed lots of their own people after election to save damn dictatorship. Majority of Iranian people are kind and peaceful. unfortunately, we used to hear a bad news of IRAN and I hope to see free Iran as soon as possible and with our brave people efforts like this man we will show the real image of kind and peaceful people of Iran soon. Ahmadi nejad is not our president Free IRAN
