Apologise

The true story has been told. The soldiers were not to blame. SBS should apologise to the soldiers and their families.AFA

its worth trillions

one of the main reasons foreigners are in afghanistan is because they realise there is trillions of dollars of natural resources which have not been touched... everyone wants a piece of it, especially the americans. However, I am an Afghan and I think since the Americans have taken hold of Afghanistan, particularly Kabul , it has slowed down civil war which has been so common in Afghanistan for too long.

Justice

They need to be sent to Afghanistan to face justice by their victim's families. These cowardly "special forces" deserve no mercy. Eye for an eye. They need to pay for their crimes.

Missing facts

This story commits the same error for which it criticises the ADF - not dealing with all the facts. The soldiers say they were fired upon by someone from inside the room. The story does not attempt to address this. The people interviewed don't seem to have been even asked about it. Instead, the story attempts to create the misleading impression that the soldiers went to the wrong place and murdered innocent children. Was it that? Or were some innocent people tragically caught in the cross fire?

War for Terror

Thi so-called war on terror which is now a war to westernise a muslim country, has nothing to do with decreasing the risk of terrorism. The events displayed harden the hearts of muslim youths throughout the world and increase the risk of terror attacks which emanate within western participant countries. Afganistans problems, like those of numerous other countries which do not conform to the US christian ideals, will in the end be solved by the Afgans, not by foreign armies.

This is insane

Has anyone actually bothered to actually watch the video? People sprouting the same mantra of, 'yeah ROE, followed no harm done and, well the Taliban fight dirty too!' First of all it is implied in the video, that this was as the result of bad intelligience, identities getting mixed up. Defend our diggers by all means but don't sprout illogical arguments.

Follow the leader

Australia has been in every major war since the nation was born. This is not something to be really proud of. Where theres war civillians . Afghanistan is another example of a war that has nothing got to do with Australia. The US has the biggest and most advanced millitary on earth yet they need help from other countries. As soon as the the US withdrawl I bet you Australia would withdrawl as well they would have the courage to stay in afghanistan a lone occupier
