Good doc, but...
This program was interesting and thought provoking. Whatever your views on the death penalty, the fact remains: This lot knew the risk of trafficking drugs through a country that executes - and they took that risk and lost. The documentary didn't mention many of the Bali 9 had previous successful drug runs from Bali, which suggests they weren't so innocent and naive, but rather professional drug couriers.

2nd Chance
They definitely did a mistake, but have learnt big time from it... so their death penalty has to be cut down.. and i hope people will have brains after seeing this and never to do this kind of mistake ever again... Hope these guys lives see some light soon !

Dont judge
I visited some of the Bali Nine guys last year. They are lovely guys, just young and made a mistake but they accept what they did. there is more to it than you know and I am very sorry for them. They deserve a second chance. They have been reformed and are sorry for their crime. Bring these kids home and let them do some good in this world.

A second chance is deserved
Speaking for myself as an intelligent and innately good person who has made some poor choices in life, I was fortunate enough be able to bounce back from those choices without suffering permanent damage to my life. The journey of life is travelled through discovery, trial and error. The key is to learn from one's mistakes and not repeat and and to be able to contribute constructively and positively. I see these two young men as learning from their mistakes and can make positive contributions....

So what.....
9 people does not a population make! Live or die, other than the odd discussion with your mates, not many of you will really care. While I did think this documentary was very well researched, presentented and thought provoking, the only thing I hope comes from it, is to stop other idiots thinking they can do the same. May it stop the next 9 idiots lined up and the 9 after that from thinking they can make easy money importing drugs. Only then this 9 will have done something right........

Great documentary
I really enjoyed watching this documentary. And I really don't approve of drug use or when people do stupid things like importing drugs and so on. all I can think about is how very stupid these 9 young people were. Knowing the risks and they still took it. But I guess, so often ppl fall for the chance to make "easy money". I do hope their appeal will be successful and they won't have to actually die. It is a high price to pay for a stupid decision.

Great documentary!
I used to think that it was fair for the worst criminals to receive the death penalty if they really hurt the society. But now, thanks to Mark Davis I've realised that people can change for the better. Some of these Bali Nine members were nothing more than just stupid and immature when they did it, and I think that being put on death sentence sobered them and helped them to appreciate living much more. It's not fair to judge them on one stupid mistake when you don't know them fully.
