Israeli greed

What a disgrace! Israel moving and expanding their allotted land boundaries and pushing rightful owners, Palestinians, Bedouins etc off the land that has been their birthplace for hundreds, more probably thousands of years. The simple fact is, after World War II, displaced Jewish people were offered a present of a parcel of land - and I mean "parcel" of land, by the British government . What is wrong with the rest of the world if they can't see what is happening here. Greed, just pure greed

Law

One of the stipulations that the new state of Israel had to abide by on its recreation was that they respect the land rights of anyone already living within its borders, it doesn't matter what the British or the Ottomans said about this land all that matters is who was living where when Israel was recreated and its these obligations that Israel must abide by and thats why they don't win these cases in the international courts.

The Bedouin's Eddie Mabo

Well done SBS for making the comparison between Eddie Mabo and Nuriel el-Okbi! Thank you Prof Oren Yiftachel and Michael Sfard and the many other Israelis who stand up for human rights. Thank you Adjunct Prof John Sheehan for sharing some of the lesson's from Australia's dark past. It was an invaluable experience to see Mr el-Okbi show all the deeds to the land, the taxes his family had paid and the aerial photo of the village of 1000 people that was destroyed.

For the Information of Professor Sheehan

Congatulations Hamas..You WIN..!! You have the Israelies, due to Political correctness, now 'bullying' the Bedouin to gain land to expand their housing settlements. The Israelies may not realise it, but this is 'IN FIGHTING". The Father of Judaism, is ABRAHAM. Where are all the Israeli Religious Scholars?. Surely they, above all people, would know that ABRAHAM was a BEDOUIN Tribesman. WHAT A DEFENCE ARGUMENT PROFESSOR..?

Jews are the indigenous people of Palestine

Mabo and Aboriginal land right claims were based on tales passed down the generations about the land. The tales from the distant past about the people and places of Palestine are those in Jewish books.

Israel is an invented MYTH

Palestinians are likely the original biblical Jews. DATELINE should interview the author, Shlomo Sand, a professor of Tel Aviv University. His book was Israel's 19-week bestseller book.

Thank you for showing it and happy to hear an Australian is involved in fighting injustice

Finally, SBS shows how the State of Israel, a settling ethnocracy (Oren Yiftachel), treats its (non-Jewish) citizens. Australia has to a certain degree overcome racism and discrimination (despite the fact that the gap remains and things are far from ideal for the indigenous community). The Israeli state (and its supporters), however, openly embraces racism and discrimination, demonizing those who speak out against it. At least there are brave people who fight injustice. May justice prevail!

Greed

Congratulations on your excellent exposure of Greed. Zionists want to rule the earth and villify any opposition to their cause. As far as scripture goes, the whole lot is a load of hogwash. Any "believers" should google" Pope Leo X" and read his comments on the subject.
