Where is the balance?
These young men, like so may others have fallen into a trap and got stung. I am a firm believer in adequate punishment for a crime. Though taking these two young mens lives for the crimes they committed would be an atrocious, unjust and extremely foul punishment, especially with the mental and behavioral control being displayed, along side the high levels of personal and peer development that is obviously showing having these two beings alive is beneficial on numerous levels. They are warnings!

who has never made a terrible, regrettable mistake?
After belatedly watching this programme, I thank you for it. Many men in those tough testosterone-driven years make dangerous choices and sometimes live to learn from those mistakes. It seems these two have. I particularly appreciate Myuran's expressed desire to improve life for other prisoners, and Andrew's acknowledgement of his mistakes. My loving sympathy to Rajini - I too have a son who has made terrible mistakes. Admirable understated passion, Mark. May you all find peace in the turmoil.

my opinion
Wat would you all say if they had got through with thier intended drugs it was a bad batch & it killed 100 or even 1000 people you would be crying out for them to be sentenced to death. You play with fire you get burnt. Get a job like the rest of us who need money. I don't agree with the death penalty but these 2 knew wat they were doing so it was a risk they obviously were willing to take....

Priorities
Following dismissal of Myuran Sukumarans' appeal, Mark squarely faced the camera and commented with a subtle, loaded indignation, "response in Australia has been muted, in stark contrast perhaps to the reaction of the killing of Australian cattle in this country". Tone and manner suggested this was a breach of human rights needing no overstatement. Can't describe the scale of pain and terror occuring in abbatoirs worldwide. Can say I would face firing squad to prevent slaughter of 1000s of cows.

COMPARATIVE JUSTICE.
Meanwhile a court in Java gave sentences of only 3 and 6 months for some members of a gang that brutally killed members of a minority religion in a mob atttack . So death sentence for lowly couriers , yet just a few months for those taking part in a mob murder.
