inspiring

I find this so inspiring! its amazing to see what dance can do in a place but the most amazing thing is that someone can take the dance there and make it do these amazing things. Its empowering to see the possibilities for me as a dance to become involved in the world and help with shaping our world. i often feel as a dancer that is not up to me but stories like this help me realize the power we have as artists and educators. INSPIRING

Convergence from the heart

What a truly extraordinary story. Without the persistance, passion and creative efforts of Nicholas Rowe and those who support his efforts, life in Ramallah would be more hopeless. Nicholas Rowe proves how one person can make a difference. The documentary not only shows the beauty and humanity of a people who continue to suffer so much while the rest of the world turns a blind eye but it is in stark contrast to the style and motives of journalism as fostered by News International. Thankyou SBS.

Kudos

Congratulations to David and the SBS team or highlighting the magnificent work of Nick Rowe. Nick should be commended for his humanity and compassion in devoting so much of his life to such a worthy cause and a forgotten people. Thanks to this presentation we are again, but sadly all too often rarely, permitted to see that Palestinians are REAL HUMAN BEINGS and not the stereotypical fanatics that the western media and Israel in particular portray them/us as. Thank you!!

Dancing with Hope :

How heartening it is to see this passionate man's work with these most cruelly oppressed people in occupied Palestine .
