good on you
liked your more liberal attitude-iin the middle ages you might have been burnt as a witch-in arabic countries stoned-wrote a song of the 'arabic spring'- killed in cairo -demonstrate- spring has come there but not quite' etc..check 'weeping willow' 'don't play games of pain' 'wings on your mind'- maybe you could show these songs to your friends at uni- could be made into a cd - royalties to causes in your neighbourhood- let me know if interested - could send you music sheets (songs not on the ne

Unrealstic
@GraceLey: Its clear you have limited knowledge of Islam and just wanted some attention for your own peace loving religious belief..btw being rebellious does not make you courageous. This story was not realistic at all..Nalan and her friends are of the extreme minority in Palestine that can afford to go out and have a good time..were as the majority struggle to find food. What a cop out dateline..does rap music and shopping without a headscarf equal freedom ..I DON'T THINK SO!

Gaza coverage and media restraints
The weakness I found in the Gaza's Young Rebels" story was that it appeared to have a Western bias towards the pro social media revolutionaries in Gaza. Also, the documentary was very limited in relation to the context of Gaza and Hamas. I am skeptical about imposing privatisation, Western rap music, promiscuity and fast food as a form of so-called Freedom, just like I am critical of fundamentalist Islam, I wonder how much support these anti Hamas revolutionaries got from the US and Israel?

Native Title Rights - Middle East Style
The lack of historical analysis & generally proZionist reporting iin much of Australia'n media perpetuates a distorted view of what has happened & what is happens in Palestine/Israel. One website that is worth regular perusal is : http://electronicintifada.net/ Edith Zertal and Akiva Eldar's LORDS OF THE LAND [2007], is an excellent study concerning how the Zionist settler movement hijacked Israeli politics & society. Noam Chomsky & Ilan Pappe's GAZA IN CRISIS [2010] is also valuable.

Great Story
Fantastic story, its rare you get to see TV like this undramatised, real, and meaningful. I feel like I've gleaned some perspective on what life is like within Gaza. In my travels through the middle east, the people featured in this piece make up the majority of the muslim world, which is a vastly different picture than what is painted by the majority of the popular media.

Development at a difficult time
. In the beginning Gaza is not need of development now in Gaza to establish a Foundation MEMBERSHIP to protect rights Protect the freedom of the person. Of course this is impossible at this time. Because we need to build a sovereign independent state . when we work then we talk about evolution .in the end im with evolution and let the pepole who got the right thing to do it .and will be a nice state and democratic state with the freedom with recpect the others whatever what the want to do .
