Fighting faith seems accurate :-)

I am not an atheist because I was SHOWN the fact- for MY own existence- that Almighty God is real and does exist, many years ago during childhood and beyond. Not Jesus Christ or any other singular character, like the focus of Christianity. Religion is a fabrication of mankind; that most people can follow without putting up any fight. It is like a mental "mold" that masses of people are forced into from birth. Since three years of age I have been fighting the staunched Catholic/Christian belief

Atheism is a religion

Atheists believe there is no Deity. They do however evangelize and hold crusade meetings to bolster each other. It must hard to go against the fact that mankind has absolutely no idea how life began on the planet apart from the Genesis account. The Big Bang creation myth is debunked by observable science. Boyle's Law says stars cannot be self made. Galactic structure cannot be explained without invoking dark matter and dark energy, both of which have never been observed. Atheism requires Faith.

If Jesus wasn't the son of God or he was....

" If Jesus wasn't the son of God, he was a hideous wicked impostor, whose words were vain and empty." If that's true, Christopher Hitchens is absolutely right. But, thanks God, Jesus is the son of God.

Dear Atheist

Christianity is not a religion, it is a relationship with God! It takes as much faith to believe the bible is true as to believe there is no God. Psalms 14:1a says "The fool hath said in his heart, There is no God." When will God open your eyes to His beautifully designed creation? Romans 1:20 says "For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse:"

Vale Hitch

Hitchens inspired me to confront the religious with the poisonous falsehood of their 'beliefs' and to arm others, especially children, with the knowledge that it is beneficial to ask questions and the understanding that their reason will serve them best.

Atheism is illogical

Well, the atheist never ceases to construct defenses against God. The fact that he feels he must remain on the defensive indicates that the atheists are still 'targeted' by God. Some God-intoxicated men are passionate believers and some are atheists. The fascinating defensiveness of some liberals in debate may come from an atheistic defensiveness at the essence of their being. I think, atheism is not logical. There is nothing logical about rejecting the possibility of the existence of God.
