save the animals of our planet!!
I believe that MONEY is to blame and the ticket to trafficking in animal parts and organs!! Blame games are usually the way most governments and enterprises handle Issues in their countries. When Humans Wake-up from their greedy slumber and change their gutless excuses and DO something Kind and earthly for these Defenceless creatures;ie; ,WHALES,..BEARS,,AUSTRALIAN MARSUPIALS,.CHINESE BEARS AND TIGERS, VARIOUS BIRDS AROUND THE WORLD,. ELEPHANTS IN AFRICA AND ASIA,..etc,..it would BE TOO LATE

Wake Up
For all you people on here posting comments saying no one should blame China you need to stop turning a blind eye. The devastation the Chinese have caused and continue to cause around the world is appalling not only from illegal poaching but environmental destruction. They have and continue to wipe out species whilst you people are asking us to give them a break. Get real.

Please Dateline find the solution not just blame
Have you guys realized that Dateline only produce those programs for the purpose of blaming china?! I agree some Chinese need to be educated & stop buying ivory goods. However if it is possible to stop those ivory goods exported from Africa, Chinese won't have chance to get the products in their market anyway. It did not sound quite fair for only blaming ivory buyers. What about those cruel elephan killers in Africa? What would Afrian government do? Dateline's blaming game's continuing nxt week

Australia is the solution and how stupid can some people be
Just bring the elephants here where they will actually be safe why doesn't the Gillard government do something practical for once and help save these magnificent animals. As for the beliefe that the tusk have any medicinal qualities I ask how stupid can some people possibly be. Indeed people have been using these tusk for thousands more than likely to no effect don't they relies that these things have no medicinal qualities whatsoever isn't it time that these people in China abadon such customs.

Greed for the sake of utter stupidity!
Rhino horn is just compressed hair. Elephant tusk is an elongated tooth. It boggles the mind that anyone can be so stupid as to think such animal parts could be medicinal! So why not use human hair and teeth in their idiotic potions- there's an endless supply in their own countries! As for the cruelty arising from this greed, perhaps millions of Indians may be right and the offenders will be re-born as animals to be tortured by their own human relatives - now THAT would be Justice! Boycott Asia

The last elephants?
Blaming China for the action of the poachers is tantamount to blaming drug users for the action of Columbia and Mexican drug lords for the production of illicit drugs. China's policy on ivory importation is only purchase tusks from the elephants from the natural death. China does not encourage poaching in anyway. 'vietnam in fact is the largest user of ivory importation. China has been an easy target for those who hold malice and ill-feeling.
